Most people are in desperate need to loose their thigh fat in order to keep their body in best shape. Those who feel that their thighs have some extra fat; they should not worry since there is hope for an attractive shape. Exercising the different parts of the thighs will help a lot.

The genetic makeup of your body has a great role on how fat is distributed in the body. The fat in your thighs can be achieved by eating a good diet and through working other methods like resistance training. Eating a well balanced diet and avoiding processed foods will keep you in shape.

Eat green and leafier foods and try to stick to the traditional foods.   This can be done by using weights which will help in burning of fats around this area and also build muscles. Excising correctly on the vital thigh muscles like the abductor and the quadriceps is the best way to get rid of the fat.

You can do some step ups and walking the lunges as part of the exercise. The quadriceps is firmed up and the fat is lost by the walking lunges when they are done severally. You can do this either in a gym or at home.  The initial steps can be routinely started with brisk walking for thirty minutes to an hour.

Side lunge can be done by standing while your leg hips are put apart. The body should be held straight and stepping over to the left side and the knee should be bent. Your left foot should be pushed off and then go back to the starting position. On each side, repeat the same routine five to ten times and do it also on the right side.

The step up is done by using your left foot onto a step-up of an aerobic or by the use of bottom stair. For this exercise, you can use a bench that comes up to the knee height .You should step back down and with your right foot, step up. This should be done five to ten times.

A barbell can be placed on the shoulders to add some resistance. Walking the lunge involves taking steps forward keeping your front legs bent at a 90 degree angle and keeping your knee bent to reach close to the floor. You should come to a standing position by pulling yourself up using your front leg. This is followed by taking steps forward; the other leg should do the same.

This should be repeated across the room while walking. In order to add resistance, you can hold a barbell across the shoulders.  In order to get the best results, make the strategies that you have adopted to be consistent.
Doing squats is another method that is very effective for loosing the thigh weight.

It’s a simple way but it is very effective. You can also adapt to cycling since it works the thigh and also the whole body. This should be done at least five times in a week in order to get the results.
